Bovey Tracey AFC is delighted to announce that Alangel ‘AJ’ Joseph has committed to Bovey Tracey ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The exciting attacker has spent much of the past two seasons with Plymouth Marjon, where he made 46 appearances and scored 14 goals. His tally of nine strikes last season made him the Students’ second-highest goalscorer.
First Team Manager Will Small said: “AJ is someone that we were impressed with last season and watched on a couple of occasions. He brings a real goal threat and pace to the side along with his ability to assist.
“He has fitted in with the group straight away and we are all thrilled that he has chosen Bovey as his new home this season.”
And Joseph added: “I feel like Bovey is the right place for me to be playing this year. The energy of the squad, the aspirations of the club and Will’s enthusiasm seem like a recipe for success.”
