Cavanagh commits to Bovey Tracey

Bovey Tracey AFC is pleased to announce that the versatile Tom Cavanagh has joined the ranks at Mill Marsh Park ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Cavanagh has spent the past two seasons playing for Plymouth Marjon, where he made 48 appearances and scored three goals.

First team manager Will Small said: “Tom is someone who I’ve watched since his Argyle Development days. He’s a great lad on and off the pitch, comfortable in a number of positions and will be a great addition to the squad.”

And Cavanagh added: “After speaking to the gaffer, knowing the ambition for the future and being around the club, it was an easy decision for me.”

  1. Go on my great nephew, you will be playing for Bonnie Scotland or shitty England soon, great to have a footballer from the Cavanagh family again just like my brother George who trained with Kilmarnock Football Club and his best mate Joe McBride who played for The mighty Celtic in the sixties and seventies. Have a great time at Bovey. Well done Tom, and good luck to Bovey Tracey Football Club for next season, great Unc Fran XX
