Bovey Tracey AFC is delighted to announce that Ryan O’Callaghan has committed himself to Mill Marsh Park for the 2023/24 campaign.
The experienced defender made 34 appearances for fellow Peninsula Premier East side Dartmouth last season. He is also no stranger to Bovey, having run-out 18 times for the Moorlanders at the beginning of the 2021/22 season.
First team manager Will Small said about the signing: “Ryan is someone who I have tried to sign on several occasions over the years. He has the experience of winning this league and he is a great character both on and off the pitch. He’s a no-nonsense defender who has a great left foot and an eye for goal.”
And O’Callaghan himself added: “I’m excited to join a good bunch of lads and play for Will for the first time. Bovey is a really well-run club and I’m looking forward to helping the team push on from the good season they had last year, hopefully getting ourselves in the mix for the league come April.”
