Bovey Tracey AFC is delighted to announce the return of striker Sean Finch, who has committed his services to the club for the 2023/24 campaign.
Finch is easily Bovey’s most prolific goalscorer in recent years, having racked-up an impressive 98 goals between 2018/19 and the midway point of the 2021/22 season – a period which was hit heavily by Covid.
He featured prominently for Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police last season, contributing 13 goals in eight appearances as the Bees were promoted from the Devon Football League South & West division.
Bovey First Team Manager Will Small said: “Sean needs no introduction! He has come back in pre-season and showed a real hunger and enjoyment for his football again. He’s a winner, a goalscorer and another great addition to our squad.”
And Finch added: “I’m buzzing to be back playing my football at Bovey Tracey. I’m really looking forward to playing for Will again and I’m hungry to score as many goals as possible to get us right in the mix – hopefully for the title.”
